Anticipating Lost of Cellphone

"Simple but useful". Maybe it's an expression that simply represents a features that are embedded in almost all Android phones today: Android Device Manager. By activating Android Device Manager, there are several services that can be enjoyed by you, as Android owners:
First, you can monitor the position of the cellphone if Google Location Service is activated. Android Device Manager will display the coordinates of the position of the cellphone. In order for the accuracy of the coordinates to be as close as possible to the actual coordinates, you should enable all Google location services including: wireless network, GPS, and Location Google service.
Second, you can also ring a ringtone even though the status of the cellphone ringtone is not activated. This service is very helpful when you forgot where you put your cellphone. When the ringtone is activated, the phone will ring with the maximum volume.
Apart from the two services above, you also can lock your cellphone remotely. Maybe this is also needed to anticipate when the cellphone is lost or feared that it's stolen. So, to minimize the possibility of other people can access it, especially  your private data.
Last but not least,you can delete all data on the phone remotely. Maybe this is one of the concerns of every cellphone owner when his/her cellphone is lost. You worried that the data was stolen by the person who found the cellphone (or stole it). Therefore, by activating this feature, it's used to minimize the possibility of people retrieving data on the phone when the cellphone is lost.
Those are some of the services that embedded in the Android Device Manager. Then, how do you activate it? Quite easy, just open (Google) Settings, select "Android Device Manager" menu, then activate all options on the menu.
Furthermore, because this service is intended to anticipate not desirable things when a phone is lost, you can access Android Device Manager using a computer or other cellphone. Enter Android Device Manager via your browser by using the same Google Account as the account used on the cellphone that you are monitoring.
